Heritage International School

Kampala, Uganda

The Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF) has been created in an effort to enhance unity between parents, teachers and administration, to encourage and enable parental involvement in the life of the school. The purpose of the PTF is to support school activities and facilitate fundraising for approved projects. The Fellowship is voluntary and is open to parents of children currently attending the school and teachers and administrators currently employed by the school.

Elections to the PTF take place during the first few weeks of the first semester and the Fellowship also elects an at-large board member to a two-year term.

The PTF committee annually plans the International Dinner, which is always a wonderful time of sharing our diverse cultures, and the Annual Bazaar, usually held during the last month of the school year.

Involvement from the parents is highly encouraged and really makes HIS a unique family atmosphere!
